First Step Family Childcare is operated under the stringent regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We are licensed to care for children from ages 3 months to 5 years old, and we are committed to providing a nurturing environment for the children in our care.
With more than 25 years of experience in early childhood environment, owner/operator Ms. Parisa has have expertise in the following:
- Managed a class of 20 preschoolers.
- Planned and implemented a weekly curriculum.
- Assist children using several developmental tools.
- Provided individualization to meet children needs according to assessment working with children with diverse special needs.
- Planned and implemented field trips programs.
- Mentored other preschool teachers.
Ms. Parisa’s professional early childhood career concentrated in assessing each child's needs and working with them to develop their abilities to reach their full potential. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Development and throughout her career has continually attended enrichment classes and workshops to keep Ms. Parisa abreast of new ideas and perspectives on childhood developments.
In addition to Ms. Parisa’s educational credentials and expertise, she is also certified in infant, children, and adult CPR as well as first aid. The safety, health, and welfare of the children in her care are the foremost priority. As a parent herself, she understands other parents’ concerns and their diligence in finding a safe and caring environment to entrust their child.
